Wow, one week left before Christmas Vacation begins! We have a busy week with our Christmas Program practices, Christmas Party, and daily assignments.
This week’s memory schedule is as follows:
Tues. 10th Comm., Eph. 2:8-9
Thurs. Matt. 4:10, Matt. 18: 20, I John 1:7
We are working on spelling unit 16 this week. The pretest is Monday and the final test is on Friday. There is a math test this Wednesday.
We will be having our class Christmas party in the afternoon on Friday. Please remember you do not need to send a lunch to school with your child. You may want to send a snack for morning recess. Notes will be sent home reminding you what you volunteered to bring for the party. Please have the treats ready (cut, popped, frosted, warmed, etc.) and at school by noon on Friday! Thanks to all who have already offered assistance ~ we are planning on a delicious and special lunch. : )
The Christmas party will be held Friday afternoon! Students should bring their wrapped gifts to school by Thursday morning and place them under the tree. Remember to sign your name on the gift that is brought!
All students are involved in the Children’s Christmas Program on Saturday, December 19 at 5:30 and 7:00 PM. We will be having a joint practice on Saturday morning, Dec. 19, from 9:00-11:00 AM. We are very excited to share the news of Jesus’ birth with you! Students will meet in the classroom on Sat. at 5:00 PM. Please plan to join us for the other special services as well.
