Welcome to the last week of the 1st Quarter! The time has been flying so very quickly. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, October 30.
This week’s memory schedule is as follows:
Tues.: 4th Comm., Prov. 3:5
Thurs.: Prov. 13:24, Rom. 8:28
Fri.: Hymn 203: 1-2
We are on spelling unit 9 this week. The final test will be on Friday. There will also be a math test this week Tuesday. There will be an English test on verbs next week Wednesday.
On Thursday morning the student body will be watching the musical presentation called “A Barnyard Moosical” by grades 1-3, with an opening act by the kindergarten. We are looking forward to the fun!
Grades 3-5 sing in church this Sunday, October 25 in the 11:15 AM service. Please sign and return the singing form by Thursday. Thanks!
The mystery book report is due Monday, November 9. A sheet describing the project details was sent home on Monday.
October is National Popcorn Month. The students wrote some great stories about what would happen if they were popping some popcorn and it wouldn’t stop popping ~ they were very creative! We will be having a ‘Popcorn Party’ this Friday and learning more about popcorn.
Have a blessed week!
