I hope you were able to enjoy the Harvest Fest at Apostles on Friday night – what a fun time it was! We also had great reason to celebrate on Sunday and thank God for the 40 years of blessings He has granted to Apostles Lutheran School. May God’s blessings continue to pour out!
This Wednesday morning the students will enjoy the Wildlife Assembly presentation of animals with the entire student body. Parents are welcome to join us at 9:30 AM for the excitement!
This week’s memory schedule is as follows:
Tues. I Peter 5:7, I John 1:7
Fri. Hymn 405: 1-3
We are on spelling unit 8 this week. The final test will be on Friday.
The students took a math test on Monday. There will be a Catechism Review on lessons 1-12 on Tuesday, and there will be a test on the book Hatchet on Thursday.
The students read some interesting books for the realistic fiction book report! The next book report will be on a mystery book. Students should choose a mystery book and bring it to school to be approved by Monday, October 19.
Join us this Tuesday evening for some food, fun, and fellowship at California Pizza Kitchen. Bring in the flier and Apostles will receive 20% of the purchase. Hope to see you there!
School will dismiss at noon on Friday for Teacher Collaboration Day. There will be no hot lunch on Friday. Homeroom will be available from noon until 6:00 PM.
With the various illnesses upon us please remember to call or email and let me know if your child will be absent from school. Assignments will be sent home with a sibling or can be picked up at the end of the school day. Thanks!
Have a blessed week!
