Wow, one week left before Christmas Vacation begins! We have a busy week with our Christmas Program practices, Christmas Party, and daily assignments.
This week’s memory schedule is as follows:
Monday – Hymn 62:3,4
Tuesday - #114, 8th Commandment
Thursday - #113, 138
This week’s spelling is unit 15. The pretest is Monday and the final test is on Friday. All 5th grade students will take a math test on Tuesday. We will be finishing our Persuasive Letters this week.
This week we will be walking/running the mile on Tuesday. Please bring or wear tennis shoes to school on that day. Thanks!
There will be no hot lunch on Thursday! We will be having our class Christmas party in the afternoon on Thursday, so please be sure to send a lunch to school with your child.
The Christmas party will be held Thursday afternoon! Students should bring their wrapped gifts to school by Thursday morning and place them under the tree. Remember to sign your name on the gift that is brought!
Let me know if you would like to bring a treat to share with the class. Please have the treats ready (cut, popped, frosted, etc.) and at school by noon on Thursday! Thanks to all who have already offered assistance ~ we are planning on a fun-filled afternoon. : )
