Happy Thanksgiving! May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and enjoy God’s blessings of family, friends, food, and fun. May we all be reminded to live each day as a day of ‘Thanks-living’ to the Lord! Join us for Thanksgiving services on Wed. at 7:00 PM or Thurs. at 9:00 AM.
This is a shortened school week due to the Thanksgiving break. School will dismiss at noon on Wednesday. I’ll see you again on Monday, November 30. We will be busy for those three weeks preparing for the Children’s Christmas Program on Saturday, December 19.
The social studies project due date is this week Wednesday, November 25! It will be enjoyable to see the students’ hard work in their various projects this coming January.
The students have Ps. 14:1 and Luther’s Morning Prayer to recite on Tuesday. There will be no spelling unit this week. There will be a math test and science test on Mon., Nov. 30. There will be an English test on sentences Wed., Dec. 2.
The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success! Thank you for all the wonderful book donations for the classroom. They are very much appreciated by the students and myself and will be put to great use!
The next field trip will be Tues., Jan. 19. Please look for the field trip note that was sent home on Monday.
‘Tis the season! With the various illnesses around, please be sure to email/call the school to let us know if your child will be absent. Thanks much!
Have a very blessed Thanksgiving!
