Thank you for bringing your children to sing in church on Sunday. The students did a great job praising God with their voices! What a special way we were able to celebrate Reformation Sunday.
This week’s Memory schedule is as follows:
Tuesday: Mark 9:24, John 6:68, Psalm 51:5
Thursday: Hebrews 13:9, Genesis 3:15
Friday: Hymn 204:1-2
This week we are working on spelling unit 10. The pretest will be Monday and the final test Friday. All students will take a math test next Monday. The students will be reviewing for their English test next week Monday and the test will be taken on Wednesday. This week we will begin writing tall tales stories, and we are also going to begin reading the novel Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls.
School dismisses at noon on Wednesday, November 5. The teachers will be traveling to Southern California for Teachers’ Conference on November 6-7.
Things will soon be a little wild at Apostles!!! Wild about books, that is! We will be having a Scholastic Book Fair at Apostles Mon., Nov. 17 through Fri., Nov. 21 and Sun., Nov. 23. The students will be making art projects in school to display at the fair and also enjoying various activities during that week. Plan now to stop and visit and catch some of the excitement!
Have a great week!
